My Saturdays are filled with excitement, quick thinking, and joy, because of my job as a second shooter for the last 3 years for a local photographer. The years have been so rewarding, and helpful in understanding who I am and who I want to be as a photographer. My job involves the use and knowledge of,

•        Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

•        Social media management

•        Ordering prints

        I have experience using analog cameras, such as 35mm and 4x5, along with developing black and white negatives and prints.

       Photography is my first major, and my second is advertising. Having the two majors has created more opportunities in the photography field, and gave me a better understanding and versatility for what I want to do. I expect to graduate in the fall of 2018, with high honors. Three out of the last 4 semesters I have been on the Dean’s list. In the spring of 2017, I was also awarded the Paul Harum Award for my academic work in the photography department.

       When I am not at school or work I enjoy the outdoors, baking, and making things (paintings, bracelets, cards, etc.) I volunteer by decorating my hometown church and offer my free time to those that need help.

       I am working to gain knowledge to one day have my own business. In addition, I want to be able to help small businesses with their social media presence and to help them be successful.

I would like to do freelance work, internships, or assistantships. The possibility to gain knowledge from others continues to motivate me.
